In this webinar Rob Nahoopii and Jennifer Hagen help covered entities learn how to develop a trial balance crosswalk based on elements that are listed in HRSA’s FY21 data request. To make this happen participants will examine key elements of various Medicare Cost report worksheets and then evaluate trial balance crosswalk examples for best practices. There is a quick review of the new OPAIS 340B online registration resource center followed by Q&A.

About the Speakers
Jennifer Hagen, PharmD, 340B ACE
For the past five years, Jennifer has acted as lead pharmacist auditor and director of compliance and development for Turnkey Pharmacy Solutions a Spend Mend Company. She previously served as Ambulatory Pharmacy Director at CentraCare Health in Central Minnesota responsible for 340B Program administration, Infusion Pharmacy, four retail pharmacies, the MTM program, and the ambulatory care pharmacy residency program. While overseeing CentraCare’s 340B Program, St. Cloud Hospital was selected by HRSA as a 340B leading practice site and Jennifer acted as a HRSA Peer Mentor participating in educational webinars for HRSA from 2013-2015. Jennifer also served as Apexus faculty for 340B University speaking as an orphan drug expert from 2013-2015. She also led several rural hospital round table discussions for 340B Health and has presented at many of the previous 340B Coalition meetings.
Turnkey provides comprehensive 340B auditing and optimization services to all covered entities. The SpendMend Turnkey Pharmacy team has completed over 1200 audits as of 2021 and has assisted clients with over 75 HRSA audits. In addition to program audits and program growth, Turnkey offers education, policy development, corrective action planning, and assistance with manufacturer correspondence.
Rob Nahoopii, PharmD, MS, 340B ACE
Rob has frontline 340B experience as a regional director of pharmacy with a 22-hospital Health System. His responsibilities included regional oversight, and direct responsibility for Utah Valley Regional Medical Center’s inpatient pharmacy (a 395 bed DSH hospital, in-house community pharmacy, and contract pharmacy arrangements. For the last 7 years, he has been providing 340B external independednt audits and 340B gap analysis for 340B covered entities across the country through his role as CEO of Turnkey Pharmacy Solutions, and after Turnkey’s acquisition by SpendMend, as SVP of Pharmacy Services.
Rob has personally conducted over 275 independent 340B audits for covered entities, and supported over 20 HRSA audits for clients. Rob obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he complete a 2-year pharmacy administration residency with Intermountain Healthcare and a Master of Science in Pharmacotherapy in pharmacy administration tract at the University of Utah. He also completeed a 340B ACE training with Apexus. Rob has served on the Apexus DSH council and was a 340B University faculty member for over 3 years.
