Alan J. Brander, RN, FACHE, MBA
Al is the Chief Sales Officer for SpendMend. Alan has over 30 years of hospital experience in clinical social work, nursing and hospital administration, including holding positions as the Director of Emergency Services of a Level I Trauma Center, Director of Surgical Services of a 30 Suite OR, and CNO over 2 hospitals in a 14-hospital system. Alan is a Fellow in the American College of HealthCare Executives and was a HealthCare Accreditation Certified Professional. He was one of the creators of TrackCore, a tissue and implant compliance tracking solution and TurnOver Tracker, a OR optimization software designed to automate and notify key personnel involved in the turn over process between surgical cases.Al
Fun Fact: Around the office Al is known as Aloha Al not only because he can rock a grass skirt and parrot at a Jimmy Buffet concert, but also because he lived in Hawaii as a traveling nurse and one of his daughter’s was born there.

Jennifer Penn, MBA is an Implantable Device Manager at Providence St. Joseph Health, with 7+ years’ experience in sourcing and contracting with a focus on implantable devices. Jenn has been instrumental in successfully developing and enhancing programs to drive cost efficiencies and compliance.
Fun Fact: Jenn is known as the Cola Bomber because she found out the hard way, if you spill Coca Cola on yourself prior to entering the TSA line at the airport, you will test positive for explosive residue.
