Alan has over 30 years of hospital experience in clinical social work, nursing and hospital administration. Alan is a Fellow in the American College of HealthCare Executives and was a HealthCare Accreditation Certified Professional. He was the creator of TrackCore, a tissue and implant compliance tracking solution and TurnOver Tracker, an OR optimization software designed to provide real time monitoring and notification to key personnel involved in the turnover process between surgical cases.
Rob Nahoopii
PharmD, MS, ACE
Rob has frontline 340B experience as a regional director of pharmacy within a 22-hospital Health-system. His responsibilities included regional oversight, and direct responsibility for a 395-bed DSH (DISH) hospital, in-house community pharmacy, and contract pharmacy arrangements. For the last 9 years, he has been providing 340B external independent audits and 340B gap analyses for 340B covered entities across the country through his role as CEO of Turnkey Pharmacy Solutions, and after Turnkey’s acquisition by SpendMend, as SVP of Pharmacy Services. Rob has personally conducted over 300 independent 340B audits for covered entities and has supported over 25 HRSA 340B audits for clients. Rob has served on the Apexus DSH council and was a 340B University faculty member for over 3 years.
David Shulkin
The Honorable Dr. David J. Shulkin was the ninth Secretary of the US Department of Veterans Affairs in the Trump Administration and the VA’s Under Secretary of Health in the Obama Administration. As such, Secretary Shulkin was the only member of the Cabinet to have served both Presidents and to have been confirmed by the US Senate by a vote of 100-0. As Secretary, Dr. Shulkin represented the 21 million American veterans and was responsible for the nation’s most extensive integrated healthcare system with over 1,200 sites of care, serving over 9 million Veterans. VA is also the nation’s largest provider of graduate medical education and a major contributor to medical research and provides veterans with disability payments, education through the GI bill, and home loans, and runs a national cemetery system.
