About the Speakers
Megan Kussay
RPh., 340B ACE
Megan Kussay holds the position of Lead Pharmacist Auditor at SpendMend Pharmacy. Before assuming this role, Megan served as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Infectious Disease and as the Director of 340B Compliance at a prominent FQHC in Philadelphia. She also brings experience in Ryan White, STD, and Family Planning grantee types. Prior to her leadership role within the FQHC, Megan accumulated over 15 years of experience in the specialty pharmacy space, with a focus on HIV/AIDS care. During this time, she played a pivotal role in implementing the specialty pharmacy’s first 340B contract pharmacy.
Heidi Larson
PharmD, 340B ACE
Heidi Larson is the Director of Compliance and a Lead Pharmacist Auditor for SpendMend Pharmacy. Prior to this role, Heidi had a leadership role at a large 500-bed DSH hospital where she had direct oversight of the 340B Program, the Purchasing and Procurement team, the Prior Authorization department which she implemented and grew, the vaccine program, pharmacy financials including the drug budget, resident training, and new pharmacy program development. She also was a member of the P&T committee, EMR documentation committee, 340B committee, and vaccine committee. While overseeing the 340B Program, she was selected by HRSA as overseeing a 340B leading practice site. Heidi functioned as a HRSA Peer Mentor participating in educational webinars with HRSA from 2012- 2017. Heidi also served as Apexus faculty speaking at 340B University and has spoken at various other local and national meetings. Heidi served as a 340B HRSA auditor in 2017 and 2018 contracting with Bizzell. Heidi also has experience as a clinical oncology pharmacist at a large hospital in the Midwest, has experience at a small pharmaceutical company managing professional services and assisting with clinical drug trials, and experience as a retail pharmacist.
Greg Wilson
PharmD, BCPS, 340B ACE
Greg Wilson, PharmD, BCPS, 340B ACE, is a Director of Compliance for SpendMend. In this role, he oversees independent external audits and provides covered entity support during the HRSA audit process. He has more than 15 years of health care experience serving in a variety of roles in hospital and health system pharmacy. Prior to joining SpendMend, he was the director of corporate pharmacy services for a large integrated delivery network based in Pittsburgh, PA, with responsibility for formulary management, medication-use policy, coordination of system-level P&T Committee activities, and oversight of 340B Program compliance and optimization.
